I am originally from Delano, Minnesota. I went to North Dakota State University and majored in instrumental music education while minoring in vocal music education. Throughout my time at NDSU, I participated in many ensembles including the NDSU Wind Symphony, Gold Star Marching Band, NDSU Jazz Ensemble, the Statesmen of NDSU. Over the summers I worked in Brainerd, MN at Central Lakes College as a Tutor/Mentor for the Upward Bound program. This program would help students in poverty and first-generation college students get ready for college and continue working on their core-academic courses. Before this I would work at YMCA Day Camp Ihduhapi as the Assistant Director of Day Camp.
