Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. It is currently and will
always be a work in progress. So please be patient as I will add to it as
needed. I am in my ninth year of teaching here at Campbell – Tintah, and I
am looking forward to many more.
I enjoy working in our small district because I am able to get to know the
students, families, and staff better than at a larger school. If you need to
contact me, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
For anyone who wants to know, here is some information about myself. I
went to high school at Central Lyon High School in Rock Rapids, Iowa,
where I was born and raised. Central Lyon is not a big school, but
compared to Campbell, it sure is. I was involved in football and track for
four years. The football team won the state championship my senior year,
and I was a state qualifier in track my senior year. I was also involved in
Quiz Bowl (a competition that is similar to Knowledge Bowl, but with a few
differences) and Drama. I was part of two musicals and two spring plays in
high school.
My first two years of college were done at Minnesota West CTC in
Worthington, MN. After graduating, I transferred to Southwest Minnesota
State University (SMSU) in Marshall, MN. I was lucky enough to do my
student teaching in Marshall, and I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA
in Secondary Education – History. After graduating college, I worked as a
para for one year and a substitute teacher for another before being hired
here at Campbell.
