eLibrary Minnesota gives Minnesota residents access to magazine, journal, newspaper and encyclopedia articles, media, including images, videos, and audio files, and other information resources. All Minnesota residents can access this website using internet in their homes. There are resources available for K-12 students. The Britannica encyclopedia is great, and there are many excellent resources on this website! If you click on “Student Research,” you can view several resources by targeted age group. This is a very brief overview; please let me know if I can help you with any specifics of eLibrary Minnesota.
This is part of eLibrary Minnesota; it is an online ebook collection for all ages. You don’t need to use a library card to view ebooks – you just have to be a Minnesota resident – so there is no limit to the number of people reading a book at the same time. If you’d rather browse by age group than by topic, click on “Menu,” then “Modules” under the “Explore” category. I’ve used this resource with my classes; there are all kinds of neat regional history resources, as well as many other books that might be helpful.
