Similar to an earlier selection I shared here in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning a few months ago featuring some good web tools to create videos without having to install any software, today I am sharing 5 of my favourites tools to edit pictures to use with your students and they too do not require any software download or installation. They are all web-based and pretty easy to use.
1- Picmonkey
PicMonkey is a great web tool for photo editing. It has everything you might need to edit your image from the basic to advanced features. PicMonkey is a good option for adding text to your image.
2- Befunky
Befunky allows you to crop, resize, or add a frame to your photo. It also lets you adjust the color, brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness of your pictures and even create collages to share with others.
3- Pixlr
More than 600 effects, overlays, and borders to personalize any image, free! Pixlr Express is a fun and free photo editor that lets you quickly crop, re-size, and fix any picture, remove red-eye, and whiten teeth.
4- Fotor
Using Fotor’s photo editor, you can resize your photos,crop them, adjust the lighting curve, rotate, adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and sharpness, adjust the tone and colors, or just straighten a crooked shot! And That’s just in the basic edits! You can also add photo effects, photo frames, clip art, text, or use our unique color splash, mosaic, and tilt shift tools!
5- Picghost
Edit your images online quickly and easily and also for FREE! With PicGhost you can edit all your images online, no software or installations required.
6- Aviary
This is an app that allow you to generate beautiful photos using stunning filters and frames, creative stickers, touch-up tools and more. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
